Course Overview 2012

Based around web pages and multimedia applications, this course of study will be assessed using a mixture of Unit Standards and Level 2 NCEA Digital Technology Achievement Standards. Students are required to demonstrate competency in design principles, HTML and other webpage technologies, manipulation and production of graphic images using a computer, animation, accessing and processing information from different media and to produce a solution from a given brief.

This course offers up to 12 credits from level 2 unit standards and up to 8 credits from level 2 achievement standards.

Prerequisites: 8 credits in English at Level one. 12 credits in Computing at Level 1.
