12 Computing 2010: General Aims

 


Based around web pages and multimedia applications this course of study will be assessed using a mixture of Level 2 and 3 unit standards and Level 2 NCEA Technology Achievement Standards. Students are required to demonstrate competency in design principles, HTML and other webpage technologies, manipulation and production of graphic images using a computer, animation, accessing and processing information from different media and to produce a solution from a given brief. This course will provide students with half of the assessments needed for a National Computing Certificate.
