This course of study involves practical and theoretical activities.

In 2011 some new Digital Technologies Achievement Standards become available. At this time not enough information is provided from NZQA and the Ministry of Education to fully understand the requirements of these Achievement Standards. They do however allow our students to achieve at Merit and Excellence which the existing Unit Standards do not. The intention is to teach and assess using the new Achievement Standards but if the required resources are not released or the standards become unwieldy or not suitable for our students at this stage we will switch back to a unit standards course.

This course will be based around the areas of Digital Media, Programming and Computer Science and Digital Information. Students with a passion for Electronics or Digital infrastructure may be able to move to an individual program later in the school year.

Course Costs: $15   Estimated Printing Costs $10
