We're already gearing up for our first major opportunity this weekend - the Film Workshop on March 5th and 6th led by Jonathan O'Neill. Jonathan is the ICT cluster faciltator over at Ngatea and he also works with students at Hauraki Plains College teaching Film Studies. Students he has taught (primary and secondary) have been prominent amongst the prize winners in the various national film competitions over the last couple of years. In other words-he knows his stuff!
The cost for the two days is $50...which is a complete steal. This workshop is aimed more at students from Y7 upwards but younger students could be considered if they are super keen and think they could keep up with the pace.
