During our Waste Audit it was great to look back and just see how much we have all achieved in 5 years...
Waste Disposal
2004 Waste disposal cost the school approximately $9835
2005 Introduced green recylcing bins into the admin and resource room areas
2006 Waste disposal cost the school $8430
2007 We stopped burning waste; we introduced classroom blue bins. Waste disposal cost the school $7093 (approximately $591 per month)
2008 We introduced the 3 bin system. Waste disposal cost the school $4526 (approximately $377 per month)
2009 So far we are running at $148 per month
Our goal is to aim for less than $2000 per year which will mean even more financial gains for MBAS!
