

What a start to Week 2 - a visit from the Westpac Helicopter Team who have been based in Mercury Bay for the summer. Mr Morgan had the inspiration to bring the crew to school first thing Tuesday morning and give us all a chance to show just how much we appreciate what they have been doing for our community. Students from all ages laid on the ground and spelt out THANKS! and then many got the chance to hear from the crew members themselves.
Special mention must also go to the group of touring motorcylists who turned up on their gleaming machines to add weight to the 'exclamation mark'. One of their group had received treatment from the Westpac crew during their stay in the Bay and they wanted to contribute to the occasion.
