On Tuesday 12th of April Room 22 went to Waiau Waterworks in Coromandel for a school trip.
The trip was for Room 22 children to learn about what the purpose of water is and to do an experiment using muddy water, tap water and river water. The groups had to see if anyone could see any suspended solids floating in the water. Then Room 22 was asked have their lunch so everybody sat down and ate their lunch next to the water cannons. After lunch everyone had a play and some people squirted each other on the water cannons, some rode the flying bikes and even the flying fox.
Eight parents helped with driving and taking care of Room 22 children with the teacher Mrs Campbell. At Waiau Waterworks there are heaps of attractions showing people many different ways in which water can be used.
A great day was had by all.
