The ministry of education produce a number of interactive stories to aid in literacy. They are stories where you can click on each sentence and it is read back to you. They also have some other activities built in.
Each CD contains 10 illustrated texts with audio, glossary, and activities for students in years 5 to 6.

These CDs have a license that allows students to use them at home. Copies can be made for students in your class who are behind. See Max for this.
