How to use AB Tutor control
Step 1: Locate the short cut on the desktop and double click it.
Step 2: When AB Tutor control opens you need to enter a password in the red box below. The password is abtutor.
Step 3: You need to highlight all the computer and click on connect button (in the red box). To highlight all the computers click on the top one and then scroll down to the bottom one but do not click on it. Hold down the shift button and click on the bottom one.
Step 4: You will then be see the window below pop up. You need to enter in the user name and password you use to connect to the internet. And then click ok.
You should now see the following:
The watch button will display the students screen on your computer. Highlight one or more computers and then hit the watch button.
The show button will show all the students your screen; this is great for showing them examples, or tutorials. Make sure to tell the students not to touch their computers because the computer will start to beep (which can get annoying).
The lock button will prevent the student from doing anything on the computer. The unlock button till allow them to start using the computer again. This feature is great when you want to get the students attention.
