You can access Terminal Server from home.
From terminal server you can do all your KAMAR things as well as send and recieve emails via Exchange Web-interface. You can also look at your home folder and the resources folders. All very handy.
You can access the school from any windows computer. It doesn't have to be a school laptop, it could be from your home computer.
From a windows computer start up Remote Desktop. You can do this in three ways:
- Start, Run, and type in mstsc (That is MicroSoft Terminal Server Client).
- Start, Programs, Accessories, Communications, Terminal Server.
- Or clicking on the Terminal Server (RDP) icon if it is on your desktop.
In the box that comes up type in the following server address.
webmail.mbas.ac.nz
And press connect (you can ignore the warning message box that comes up and connect)
Make sure your password is save and includes e.g. letters and numbers!
Please follow these instructions if your password is not safe enough.
