Typing Tournament and other EdAlive software titles allow you to create a user account.
Here are instructions on how to run and then create a user for yourself in Typing Tournament.
To start Typing Tournament go to the Other Software icon on your desktop, select Junior Computing and then EdAlive software. Double click on Typing Tutor.
Click the first few welcome screens and then you will get to the select group window.
Find the group related to you. For this class it is the year 8 group.
Click the Create User button.
Then in the create user window please enter your details.
Make sure your passwords are the same in both boxes!
Now select the new user that you have just created and click the Login button.
Choose the level that you want to start out with (refer to the wpm score you got in the pretest if you are in my Year 8 class)
Have fun learning to type! Use the correct fingers, it's not teaching you anything is you don't practise using the correct fingers.
