Chess in 2012

The chess clubs have started up again in 2012. There are two chess groups running in the junior school.

Knights

Chess novices are encouraged to play on Friday lunchtimes.

  • We have some fantastic chess introduction games called "No Stress Chess" which are a fun way for beginners to learn how the pieces move.
  • More advanced chess players are encouraged to play on Tuesday lunchtimes.
  • They will be learning various strategies and preparing for chess competitions.

Chess Club 2011

The chess club for 2011 at this stage is for middle school and senior school students only. It has moved and is now running Tuesday lunchtimes. See Mr Ross for more details.
