Learning Support and Talent Development Programmes
Our Learning Support and Talent Development teams provide specific programmes and resources for our young people with specific learning needs. From Reading Recovery to philosophy and ASDAN courses to film making the opportunities are many and varied.
Special Programmes
MBAS offers a number of courses which take advantage of our unique local environment and resources. The Marine Academy, RV-12 Aeroplane Project, Outdoor Education programme and Marine Sciences course are just some of the current examples recognised for their innovative broad-ranging variety and content which are available to our senior students.

Thinking About Education
Much is changing at MBAS and education generally. We would like to share some of our thoughts with you and in this section of our website we will include key materials which relate to our pedagogical thinking – the ideas which underpin much of our work. We want to share our vision and hope that this wider view of the current influences on our thinking will help families understanding of the ‘why’ behind the education of your children.

Virtual Art Gallery
Showcasing our talented artists we can now display their work in a virtual gallery. As part of the Exhibbit project student art from all 3 areas of the school will be regularly displayed throughout the year in virtual art galleries.
